Terms And Conditions
-If any products and Works specified within this quotation are unavailable at the time of the works being carried out, Core Tech Security in its discretion may substitute a reasonable alternative.
-The Customer shall not be entitled to set off against, or deduct from the contract sum, any sums owed or claimed to be owed to the Customer by Core Tech Security nor to withhold payment of any invoice because part of that invoice is disputed.
-The customer shall make payment according to the Quote. Our payment terms are cash-on-day unless otherwise stated in writing. Payments may be made in Cash or bank transfer. For payments less than $500, PayPal, Stripe and Eftpos payments are accepted. For values over $500 requiring PayPal, Stripe and Eftpos, a 1.95% transaction fee is added to the total value owing due to bank fees. This value may vary depending on payment type (card reader, manual entry or online payment)
This value is not a profit for Core Tech Security.
-Core Tech Security may charge a default interest at the rate of 9% per annum on all overdue amounts (including late payment charges and amounts other than the contract sum) calculated on a day to day basis on any monies due but unpaid, such interest to be computed from the due date for payment AND the parties agree that such default is not a penalty but is a true measure of damages incurred by Core Tech Security. Payments received from the Customer will be credited first against any default interest and all such charges shall be payable upon demand. Core Tech Security will make all efforts to resolve any failure of payments before incurring interest.
-Any and all materials and equipment supplied by Core Tech Security for the quoted job will remain the property of Core Tech Security until full payment has been made. Materials or installed equipment may be removed as an attempt to cover expenses for unpaid invoices.
-Changes and Cancellations. Core Tech Security requires 24 hours’ notice to change, cancel or re-schedule an installation or repair service that has been scheduled. If you do not provide Core Tech Security with the required notice, Core Tech Security may at its discretion charge you a cancellation or reschedule fee of $80.
-Additional charges. Core Tech Security provide estimates for additional labour and material required, over and above the inclusions listed in the scope of work for the Services, prior to commencing an installation or repair service. Payments for such additional charges are required to be paid in full on the day of install or repair.
– Service Authorisation. You must ensure that a person who is at least 18 years of age is present at the Premises at all times whilst Service Personnel are present at the Premises to provide the Services, and that such person is authorised to approve all completed work and provides such assistance as the Service Personnel may reasonably request in order to provide the Services. If not, the Service Personnel may leave the site and Core Tech Security may invoice you for an extra installation site visit.
– Access. Installation vehicles, equipment and Service Personnel must have clear and unhindered access to the Premises and all parts of the Premises (including roof space and all internal/external locations) where the unit or service is to be installed or repaired. The roof space must be of reasonable size to allow access of installation technicians and of reasonable size to accommodate a safe working environment. Core Tech Security will not be responsible for moving or damage to any of your furniture or valuables which are obstructing access.
-Safety of our workforce. The working environment in which Core Tech Security is requested to perform the Services must meet the respective Occupational Health and Safety (OH & S) regulations. If the Installer(s) reasonably believe that the working environment at the Premises does not meet the requirements of the OH & S regulations then the Service Personnel may leave the Premises without performing the Services and Core Tech Security may invoice you for the attendance by the Service Personnel at the Premises.
-Prices are for Single Story Homes or Business unless otherwise stated within the quotation. CCTV network video recorder install locations are to an accessible cavity wall of the home or business unless otherwise stated in the quotation, network video recorder location requires an existing power point at the location of the nvr install to power the system. Core Tech Security can provide a licenced electrician to install a power point. The customer will incur additional fees or charges to complete the works should they agree to install. Live view phone application is subject to customer supplied modem connected to a reliable internet provider, modem is required to have an available LAN port for connection to the network video recorder. Connection to the modem is to a cavity wall or where possible an internal wall using an existing conduit. If no conduit is available on internal wall modem locations surface capping or trunking may be used, surface mounted trunking will be charged as an extra on the day of install. Core Tech Security takes no responsibility for the performance of 3rd party phone or device applications, Core Tech Security takes no responsibility for the performance of customer supplied modem or internet connection speeds. Core Tech Security Phone application setup and connection from network video recorder to customers existing modem is not included in the installation unless otherwise stated in the quote.
